• Community Connection matches support staff to the individual and family.  Support workers will only ever support the one person during their employment with Community Connection.
  

• Previous experience or qualifications is not a pre-requisite for employment with our service; staff are trained to become an 'expert' on the person they provide support to. 

• Employees are expected to work collaboratively with the family, but are also responsible to Community Connection Inc.

• Employees are required to work with the person to develop the skills and competencies of the person receiving the support.

• Support workers are to assist the person with creating links in the community.
